In addition to Halton Health Board Approval all food and Beverage Concessions & Vendors are required to have a valid Business License issued by The Town of Halton Hills and supply Proof of $ 2,000,000 of Liability insurance. STEAM-ERASteam-Era is the Ontario Steam and Antique Preservers Association's Largest Annual Event. For the last 60-PLUS years, Members of our Association have gathered together every Labour Day Weekend to present to the public, their privately owned collections of beautifully restored, operating antique equipment. DEMONSTRATIONSLive Demonstrations of Antique Saw Mills, Antique Threshing Machines and Plowing are some of the many things you can expect to see at STEAM-ERA. Demonstrations and competitions are held daily during the weekend, each day ending with an equipment parade, starting around 4 PM. ACTIVITIES AND VENDORSAt the show you will find various forms of Craft, Food, and, other Vendors selling unique items, both present and old. You will also find entertainment, a Kids Zone, and our very own popular "Learn to Drive", where visitors can learn to drive Antique Tractors. Don't forget to take a ride with the MILITARY EQUIPMENTA Large interactive and operational Military Equipment exhibit, operated by the Ontario Military Vehicle Association, is also located on site, along with many other displays pertaining to our Agricultural and Industrial heritage. |
